Women Can Achieve Wonders When Given Opportunities: Minister Vivek Venkatswamy.
Hyderabad :- Minister for Labour, Employment, Training, Factories and Mines, Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy, stated that women are capable of achieving extraordinary success in every field when provided with the right opportunities, encouragement, and support. He was speaking as the chief guest at the Women Empowerment Conference organized to mark the launch of the India Chapter of the Women Empowerment Telugu Association (WETA) at the Jubilee Hills Convention Centre in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The conference focused on women’s empowerment, employment opportunities, and the global impact of rural women, attracting a large number of women, students, and young professionals.
The event, organized under the leadership of WETA Founder Hanumandla Jhansi Reddy, was attended by Ministers Dansari Seethakka, Adluri Laxman, Ponnam Prabhakar, MLA Mamidala Yashaswini, and several other dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy lauded the efforts of WETA in promoting women’s empowerment and expressed confidence that such platforms would continue to expand and contribute to the economic, social, and political advancement of women.

The Minister described the journey of WETA founder Hanumandla Jhansi Reddy as inspirational. Beginning as a homemaker and later becoming a successful entrepreneur, she established WETA in the United States and has now expanded its activities to India. He said her success story demonstrates how women can reach great heights when given opportunities and encouragement.
He also praised women leaders such as Mamidala Yashaswini, noting that many women have successfully transitioned from managing households to taking active roles in public life and leadership positions. He stressed the importance of increasing women’s participation in politics and decision-making processes. Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy observed that women are excelling in education, employment, entrepreneurship, administration, and politics, playing a crucial role in the overall development of society. He emphasized that inclusive growth cannot be achieved without the active participation of women.
Highlighting the importance of family support, the Minister said that women in his own family have excelled in education, professional careers, and business. He noted that encouragement from family members, particularly men, is essential in helping women realize their aspirations and ambitions. He further stated that the voices of women who successfully balance family responsibilities while contributing to society deserve greater recognition and support. With confidence, determination, and opportunities, women can achieve any goal they set for themselves, he added.

Concluding his address, Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy expressed confidence that the initiatives planned by the WETA India Telangana Chapter would empower women, young girls, and students across the state. He conveyed his best wishes to WETA Founder Hanumandla Jhansi Reddy, the organizing team, and all members of the association for their future endeavors.
